Maintenance Contract - Non-Comprehensive - UPS System

Terms & Conditions:

Under the scheme SHARP will offer the following services:
– Sharp service personal will visit the installation sites for periodic preventive maintenance check up of the UPS systems once in a month.
– During the preventive maintenance check ups, the system will be cleaned and general performance will be checked.
– If necessary, cleaning chemical deposits on the battery terminals and applying petroleum jelly to avoid corrosion.
– Apart from the periodic preventive maintenance visits, all breakdown calls on the systems covered under AMC and reported to the respective service centers emanating from the user will be attended with in 2 Hours.
– This Contract is including only the labour and maintenance, (Non- Comprehensive) is excluding of all components inside the UPS Systems.

Scope of work:

– Checking of input / output voltage and current to ensure long life of the system and also to ensure that the system is not running on DC mode.
– Checking the total charging voltage of the system to ensure that it is within the prescribed limits for the voltage of the connected batteries.
– Checking the charging amperes of the system to ensure that it is within the prescribed limits for the capacity of the connected batteries.
– Checking the individual voltage of each battery to ensure that it is within the prescribed limits.
– If necessary, cleaning the UPS with a blower.
– Checking the indicator / meter reader in the system ensure that it is showing the prescribed readings.
– Checking the connection of major components like transformer, cooling fan, Insulated Gate Bi-Polar Transistors (IGBTs), Capacitors, Silicon Controlled Rectifiers (SCRs) and Diodes to prevent the system from overheating and possible failure.
– If necessary, cleaning the PC boards with a brush.
– Checking the load of the system to ensure that the system is not overloaded.
– Providing detailed service report.

Contract Period:

– The initial term of this contract is set for a duration of 12 months. Upon the expiration of the initial 12-month period, client have the option to renew the contract for an additional term.
